Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has apologized for his reaction towards Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho during his team’s 2-0 away loss at Stamford Bridge.
Wenger and Mourinho were involved in a touchline clash during the London derby, which saw the Frenchman shove his Portuguese counterpart, with the pair also exchanging words in the heat of the moment.
Speaking with Telefoot on Sunday, October 12, 2014, the French tactician said:
‘I always regret any signs of violence and I apologise, but that’s part of games where everything is manic – and then we have quite a substantial past.’
