"The World isn’t Doing Enough To Fight Ebola" - President Obama

Obama-Ebola

The US President Barrack Obama said the world is not doing enough to fight Ebola and he’s calling on international community in fighting the deadly disease.

Obama said this on Tuesday, October 14 after discussing the threat posed by terrorist group, ISIS during a meeting with military leaders in Washington.

The US President said that ‘the world is not doing enough’ to deal with the Ebola crisis and that the disease must be stopped at its source.

President Obama earlier said that the US would send 3000 troops to badly affected Liberia to help in curbing the disease and building health care shelters but it has been said that only about 130 soldiers have currently been deployed.

Ebola has killed over 4000 people in West Africa and has spread to the US with the third diagnosis being confirmed in another Texas health worker today, October 15, after nurse Nina Pham contracted the disease from index patient, Liberian Thomas Duncan who died on October 8.
