Mass WASSCE Failure Blamed On Epileptic Power Supply

 

Member of the House of Representatives, Chief Yomi Ogunnusi, has identified the erratic power supply in the country as a major factor for the perennial students poor performance in public examinations.

Only 31.28percent of candidates that sat the 2014 West African Secondary School Certificate , WASSCE, had credits in five subjects, including English and Mathematics.

The lawmaker said unstable power supply in the country was disincentive to learning, adding that it had discouraged students from studying hard.
