Sam Smith has been awarded two Guinness World Records for his contributions to music over the past two years.
The first is for Most Consecutive Weeks in the UK Top 10 Album Charts, with his debut release In The Lonely Hour spending 69 weeks there, taking over from Emeli Sandé’s previous record of 63 weeks.
It’s currently sitting at number six in the charts, which makes us wonder who’s still buying the album – surely everyone and their grandmother own’s a copy at this point?
The second award is for new song Writing’s On The Wall, which made history when it became the first James Bond theme ever to reach number one in the UK charts.
