Popular adult magazine, Playboy has decided that they will finally stop publishing the pictures of naked women on their covers by March 2016. The chief executive, Scott Flander said the reason is that they have gone out of fashion due to rampant internet pornography.

Nudity and sex is everywhere on the internet and due to this, it has lost its uniqueness.

According to the magazine’s chief content editor Cory Jones, the magazine wants to be more accessible, hence the move away from total nudity.

“You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passe at this juncture,” he said.

He added: “Don’t get me wrong. Twelve-year-old me is very disappointed in current me. But it’s the right thing to do.”

Flander also explained that their new sex columnist will be a “sex-positive female”, that the target market are young males for increased traffic, but that the difference between them and Vice magazine is that we’re going after the guy with a job.”
