South African Paralympic champion, Oscar Pistorius has been released from prison and placed under compulsory house arrest according to Correctional Services spokeperson, Manelisi Wolela.
Oscar has been in jail since October, 2014 after he was sentenced to serve a jail time of five years for culpable homicide as regards the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on February 14,2013 in his home at South Africa. He said that he thought she was an intruder that broke into his home.
Last week however, Oscar Pistorius was placed under house arrest and correctional supervision for the next four years following an approval by the South African parole board.
