Peter Cech vowed to quit Chelsea if Jose Mourinho continues to keep him on the bench. Cech has become the second choice for Chelsea FC to Thibaut Courtois, who returned to the club after a three year loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
Cech said he’s not happy about the situation at Stamford Bridge, and he has not started a single match this season.
“I have not spoken to anyone, but I think they know me well enough at the club (Chelsea) to know that the situation is definitely not the way I would imagine,” Cech told Czech radio while on international duty.
“With the Euros (in 2016) and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not to play.
“If the situation will not start to improve for me, then I will want to solve it.”
On Saturday against Arsenal, the 32-year-old played for the first time this season, when he replaced Courtois who went off with a concussion.
