American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather has been named the world’s highest paid athlete in 2014 by Forbes magazine.
The boxer made a whooping $105million (N171 Billion) after becoming victorious in his two last fights against Mexican boxer Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Argentine boxer Marcos Maidana. Mayweather beats Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo, basketball star Lebron James with Barcelona forward Lionel Messi claiming the fourth spot in the ten man list.
