Revealed: How Golden Eaglet Star Used To Hawk Pure Water In Ojota

2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup winning star Victor Osimhen used to hawk pure water in Ojota before his big break with the Golden, one of his representatives, Ariyo Igbayilola has revealed.

Osimhen lashes a shot into the net to put Nigeria ahead against Mali at 2015 FIFA U-17 World cup in Chile 2015
Osimhen scored 10 goals in the 2015 FIFA U-17 world cup to win the top scorer award and bronze ball for the third best player of the tournament.
He also featured when Nigeria’s U-23 Dream Team won the U-23 Africa Nations Cup.
Igbayilola said: “You know this is a boy who before now would go out to the streets of Ojota hawking pure water after training so as to make ends meet.”
The representative also said Osimhen’s natural talents and dedication will see him ‘explode’ when he moves to Europe.
He said: “Victor has not played half the football he is capable of. Once he is fully settled in Europe, he will explode.
“Now, he does not have to worry about where the next meal will come from. All he has to do is to concentrate on playing football and scoring goals and with the right environment, professional guidance and proper concentration, this boy will take world football by storm.”The former Golden Eaglet star has said he would move to Wolfsburg after examining offers from the German club and FA Cup holders Arsenal.
