Footballer, John Mikel Obi has just become the first Nigerian to get verified by Instagram.
He is the first of many Nigerian international footballers and music stars to be verified on the photo sharing website.
Mikel joined Instagram last month but his verification can be traced largely to his club’s power, Chelsea football club.
